Every leopard needs good spot coverage

Every girl's makeup bag definitely needs to have a good concealer.  My favorite right now is the Makeup Forever Camouflage Cream Palette No. 1.  What am I going to do with those crazy colors, you ask?  Palettes like this make for the best blending so you get exceptional coverageThe key color in this palette is the green, which is ideal for hiding redness and pimples.  I always dab a little green on red areas, blend it out with my finger, then apply one of the other colors on top.  After all your spots are hidden, apply your foundation.

I find that this palette is AWESOME for the dark areas underneath my eyes.  We've all seen those women who apply the wrong color under there eyes, where in pictures you see big white lines underneath them?  Never again with this product.  Also, you don't need any special brushes or applicators!  It's best used with your fingers.. you can blend and apply as much as you want with little product wastage.

Some might find it to be a little pricy, but this palette could last a long time if used properly.  (I've had mine since last Fall) Keep in mind, there are multiple versions of this palette available based on your skin color. Check out this link for reference. MUF Camo Palette Reference

As always, be sure to browse cheap sites like eBay and Amazon for the best deals.  This product can be purchased at places like Sephora and Ulta for around $36. Here is the link, and it will also be available under the "Product Links" tab. Makeup Forever Camo Palette No. 1

Bronzed and Beautiful

What girl doesn't want that beautiful bronzy glow all year long?  The Lorac TANtalizer Body Bronzing Luminizer lotion is a total must have in any girl's product collection.  One of my girlfriends shared this product with me a few years ago, and I've been hooked since day one.  It's a little pricy, but baby.. a little goes a long way!  I've had my bottle for over a year. I maximize the use and longevity of my bronzer by mixing it with a pump of my favorite lotion (featured below).  I squirt a tiny amount (less than dime sized) with a pump of Palmer's lotion and apply it all over for a beautiful sun kissed look.  It has a slight shimmer to it, which looks so pretty when you're outside or under ambiant restaurant lighting.  Unfortunately, it can't be purchased anywhere locally.. (unless you live by a Sephora or Ulta - retails around $32).  You could always browse eBay, Amazon, Sephora, Ulta and other sites for the best deal, but below is the link for the cheapest I've been able to find it. Use code GiftBB to receive $15 off your first order. Link ---> Buy me some Lorac Bronzer baby

The best daily use body lotion for me is the Palmer's Cocoa Butter Formula.  Not only does it have a yummy smell... it's cheap, nice and thick, and NOT greasy!  I love this lotion and can't live without it.  It can be purchased at any of your local retailers like Target, Walmart, Walgreens for around $5.

In the near future (hopefully this weekend) I will be featuring my at home spray tanning system which many of my girlfriends have been asking about.  I will include a demo of how I apply it and the best places to find refills.  Stay tuned.

Lots of love.

Glam Eyes

Okay, so my favorite part of my makeup routine are the eyes, especially mascara.  I own several tubes that I dabble in on different days - never hurts to mix it up, right?  I decided I would put the spotlight on my two favorite mascaras and a great eyeshadow primer.  I know many girls swear by the pricy brands, but I've discovered that the cheapies are just as good (which means we can have that much more!)

My favorite go-to mascara is the Maybelline Falsies Flared  - the one with the wings on it.  I've tried several different formulas from the Falsies line and this one is the best.  The wand is nice and fluffy and easy to use.  I find that when I apply my mascara from both the underside of my lashes and on top, I get the ultra glam look that I want.  It does flake a little bit when applying.. but I still love it.  It can be purchased at Target, Walmart or Walgreens for around $6.

My other favorite mascara is Loreal Voluminous Carbon Black.  This mascara is fabulous.. but it does tend to leave lash marks on my eyelid after long wear, and little flecks often appear on my cheeks throughout the day.. but I love the way it goes on and how big it makes my lashes.  It has a straight fluffy wand which really separates the lashes perfectly.  If you head out to find this one, be sure to real the labels because several Loreal mascaras come in the black/gold tubes. It can be purchased at Target, Walmart or Walgreens for around $6.

Have beautiful bold colors in your eyeshadow palettes, but they don't look that great when you put it on?  Palladio Herbal Eyeshadow Primer is the way to go.  It comes in a little tube similar to lip gloss.  Swipe the contents across each eyelid and rub it in gently before you apply your shadow.  The primer helps keep colors bold and prevent drying/cracking throughout long wear.  It can be purchased at Sally Beauty Supply for around $5.  What a steal compared to Urban Decay's primer which is closer to $20 a tube.

The Pink Leopard Emerges

So I took the plunge and have created a blog.  It took a bit to get the hang of it (and I still have a long way to go) but I think this will be a fun project.

My husband Chris and I bought our first home a few months ago and have been working extra hard to make it our dream home.  I will feature step by step instructions on all of the projects we've done around the house, and hopefully include pictures and video tutorials.

We also have a 75 gallon saltwater fish tank (Chris' baby) that I'll be sharing information about as well.  We recently created our own "live rock wall" that looks awesome and cost about a third of what you would pay for one nice sized piece of real live rock.  Pictures to come!

I am constantly on the lookout for new makeup and hair products, so I will share my thoughts and opinions on the ones I've tried thusfar and provide links where you can purchase them for the cheapest price, too!

Most importantly.. Chris just bought me a sewing machine!!  I never in a million years thought I would be interested, but after browsing Pintrest for hours upon end, I decided to dive in head first.  Be on the lookout for my finished products.

That's all I have for now.  Lots of love.
